Valve refurbishment refers to the process of restoring or renewing industrial valves to their optimal working condition. Valves are essential components used in various industries, including oil and gas, power generation, manufacturing, and water treatment. Over time, valves can become worn out, damaged, or inefficient due to factors such as wear and tear, corrosion, or operational issues. Refurbishing valves can help extend their lifespan, improve performance, and ensure reliable and safe operation
Servtech Technical Services LLC’s valve assemblies to our shops for inspection, testing, and full repairs. Our refurbishment capabilities allow us to quickly service what is needed to repair the valve and actuator in a timely manner along with keeping costs down. We are not at the mercy of OEMs to get parts and repair kits. We can also upgrade valve assemblies with new actuators and positioners to return the best possible product to our customers.
Servtech Technical Services LLC continues to deliver value to customers by applying the industry’s latest valve engineering techniques, some of which we’ve perfected beyond the OEM’s own capabilities. This has allowed us to continue to thrive and grow our business with unmatched performance and quality that is second to none.

Work carried out
Testing Steps
1. Pre-test
The valve is mounted on a test bench with it's performance recorded
2. Dissemble
The valve is stripped down to component form
3. Inspection
All components are inspected and their condition is recorded
4. Overhaul
Cleaned to ensure free movement plus short/standard re-lap of seat and disk
5. Reassemble
The valve is reassembled and rebuilt
6. Set and Test
The valve is set to the appropriate test pressure based on the application and medium.
Any applicable additional tests, i.e. bubble tests and back pressure tests,
are carried out as per API and ASME Standards
7. Protection
In readiness for shipping, all inlet/outlet ports are protected from ingress of unwanted matter
8. Certification & Report
A certified test certificate and metal tag attached with valves with findings report is furnished to the customer

Tests carried out on Conventional valves
● Seat Test ● Shell Test
Inspection & Testing
External Inspection - The Valve must be functionally inspected, open, and closed. The valve body must be checked visually for any cracks or cuts.
Pre-Testing - The Pre-test is done first for High-Pressure Closure, if found ok, then proceed to the rest of the applicable tests.
Dismantling & Internal Inspection - Soft kit is inspected, and size and specs are to be identified for replacement. Seat/ball situation to be recorded and determine the amount of work to be carried on the seat/ball. If not, then stop the Pre-testing at the High-pressure closure test, report, and proceed with the dismantling process.
All other mechanical valve parts are to be inspected and reported.
Overhauling And Repair - Seat Treatment - Seat treatment will be carried out as per
the inspection results (Lapping/ Machining) and Assembly as per manufacturer instructions.
Our site service people arrive at your site with a 20FT or 40FT containerized repair facility equipped with the proper tools and equipment to begin servicing your valves and valve automation changes. Our experienced field service technicians can diagnose and repair valve and actuator-related problems in the gate, globe, control, check, and ball valves. VALVE PARTS
Pressure safety valves are crucial for releasing excess pressure in process equipment to prevent damage and ensure safety. We provide online testing and certification according to ASME standards. Regular maintenance and testing of these valves are essential to protect life and property. Our system allows on-site testing of spring-operated safety valves without process interruption or valve dismantling. Our testing covers important factors such as valve set pressure, spring adjustment, valve displacement, and the effect of the nozzle and guide ring.
